Easy to Use

When a drive fills up, pull it out (without shutting down the unit) and replace it. You’re covered at all times for data loss. Just take a “naked” SATA drive out of its static-proof bag and push it, connector first, into one of the slots. No cables or power adapters are required. The capacity and placement of the drives makes no difference; you could put a few 1.5 TB bare drives into the first couple of slots, then when prices drop or as needs grow, add new drives and fill out the remaining slots. With the current prices for 1.5 TB drives as low as $104 you could buy one, replace the existing drive, and your capacity issues will be gone. Managing is easy. When a drive nears capacity, the LED near the bottom of the drive slot turns from green to yellow. Just slide a new drive in, making managing the DVXPro Series simple and without overworking your IT department.

Low Maintenance

A drive wears out, fact of life, no problem, depending on your desired configuration, one or two drives can fail, and your data remains safe. Red front panel lights are there to tell you which drive failed, simply pop it out, slide a new one in and you’re done. Simply glance at the DVXPro and its status green and blue tells you all is running in tip-top shape. No lunch breaks, vacation or holidays, if there is trouble, the DVXPro will e-mail you alerts telling you of the failure and red light indicators on the front panel are letting you know which to replace.
